A sign from the universe or delusion?
I believe that fortunately and unfortunately some things are written for the purpose of finding a bigger and well, deeper meaning to life. Some people you are meant to simply just cross paths with, for a second in time, others are meant to stay their season and the chosen handful can be forever.
Perhaps each one is placed into our lives to teach us something, a lesson we have urgently needed to learn, maybe it was a necessary lesson to be able to join the ever so slightly trodden path which is meant for what we can only assume to be ourselves.
I’ve met many different kinds of individuals in the past 25 years, the majority in the last 10. That’s what happens when you are constantly trying new things, new jobs, being the person who always says yes to a new adventure just because.
Through meeting many, I’ve been able to understand how much of my thinking lies within others and the things that are rarely understood upon meeting someone new.
See I wholeheartedly believe that I’m on a path which has been written for me already, each day means something, each interaction, each conversation presented as an opportunity to learn. Learning from others and about others has showed me the role that faith plays in many of our lives, the role of believing, believing that the world is wide and the possibilities are endless no matter what kind of day you’re having.
Having the courage to have the belief that there is a life so much bigger than what is just today and today may be a recipe for a better tomorrow. Take what you believe in and recognise that it may not happen overnight, it may not be next week, next month or in 5 years but it will happen.
Walt Disney was fired as a young man from his newspaper job for his lack of good ideas. Now had he let this alter his perception of himself we wouldn’t be able to enjoy all of the animations and many more gifts he has brought to our screens today.
He started his own animation company in 1921 and quickly went bankrupt, Disney had to try and try again. He restarted a number of times before finally becoming the man we see him as today.
You cannot let go of your beliefs in a moment of failure, these moments in their entirety are what build us to be the humans we are today and what a shame it would be if we were not who we are right now.
You deserve to believe it will happen, because the universe has been guiding you for all of the right reasons to the destination which is patiently waiting. for you.
