The 5 Non Negotiables You Need

There are a few things which I live by and have lived by in recent years, which are what I believe to be pretty life altering.

and here they are…

NUMBER 1

Choose you first.

Priortise yourself before anyone else. By this I mean, stop choosing what is no longer choosing you. Yes there is an essence of selfishness within this point but what is the line which separates being selfish to having boundaries. They may fall under the same category when looking at certain actions, situations or decisions but I think it all comes down to the sole purpose of why you choose to do something. Creating a boundary which stops negative people affecting your day to day or saying no to something because you genuinely do not want to do something is not selfish.

NUMBER 2

You are the prize

Whether you are aware of this or not, you are. Everything in your life should be done through passion and self love. You ARE the main character, because it’s is quite literally your life and you are the only person living it. This means there should be an awareness of the amount of reciprocation from people you are willing to accept as the bare minimum before giving any of your own time, effort or energy to another. Nobody can give you what you can give to yourself.

NUMBER 3

Separate yourself

This may take some self control, along with a heavy dose of acceptance but in order to become the best version of you, you have to separate yourself from the crowd. Decrease the level of influence people can have over you and you increase your likelihood of success. Eat healthy when everyone around you is having a McDonalds, get up when they are having a lie in, read when they are watching tv, work out when they are relaxing. Also if the people around you are holding these low vibrational habits, consider if they are the best people for you and then the acceptance of being alone is better than being around people who don’t want better comes to life.

NUMBER 4

Never stop learning

Learning breeds winners, the more you learn the more you know, the more likely you are to master something. Being able to inform people on topics they need help with or are interested in creates an amount of value for yourself which is rarely found with anything else. It improves your cognitive ability and increases your purpose in day to day life.

NUMBER 5

Cold Therapy

I’ve touched on this before but this just emphasises the significant weight it holds in my journey. There is something about being shocked by freezing temperatures which can pull your mind out of overthinking, overanalysing and anxiety in general. It has intense health benefits which are rarely found from another singular activity and it has quite literally changed my life.

I hope these 5 points can help you in some way or other. Start prioritising yourself and watch your life improve.
