Knowing your worth.

Self worth is defined in the dictionary as: “The value you give to your life and your achievement’s” to me self worth is this and so much more.

Your self worth determines who you are as a soul, it determines what traits the circle of people around you display, it determines how long you stay in situations where you are no longer getting the respect you deserve, it determines how you show up and how you treat others. It is the grounding factor to how hard you work and how much you put in to the life you think you should have.

8.025 BILLION people in the world, that’s a pretty large amount of humans…

8.025 people to choose from, we can decide who is included within our little piece of the universe so. Choose. carefully.

Choose the people

who see you.

Who hear you.

Who value you.

Who give freely.

Who spread kindness far and wide.

Who always try their best to understand you.

A lot can be said for the simple feeling of comfortability, it’s rare that I can be my whole self with another but the people that enable that feeling should be savoured.

Self worth is a compatible match to self love. Self love falls under the same values. The values that force us to be grateful for the individual that we are regardless of what anyone else is like. It forces us to stop comparing and start appreciating. Its not always an easy journey when the destination is self love but it is so damn worth it.

Self love brings pain, through understanding your worth in turn comes the understanding that some people may no longer fit in your universe, some situations may have to be left behind and this doesn’t always feel easy. Choosing to love yourself entirely is a hard process, accepting that it is you and only you who will see you and love you unconditionally and forever is a scary yet an amazing thought, because how lucky are you to be able to spend every day with the person that you are and the person you are becoming.

The hill may seem steep but the path upwards is the only way you will get the see the view.

Don’t shrink yourself to fit anywhere, being bold and being you is a chance only one in 8.025 billion people will get.

That’s a chance that can’t be wasted.

Sending love,

K.
